Gauchy - May 2013: SEPDC successfully passes FAT

SEPDC Consortium Partners are glad to announce that the SEPDC has successfully passed its Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). The FAT was held on the 30th of April 2013 at the premises of Hazemeyer in Gauchy, France. All the consortium partners were present as well as the Topic Manager, SAFRAN Hispano-Suiza. The conducted tests concerned the following aspects:

  • Cabinet dimensions
  • Wiring corresponds to schematics
  • Insulation and dielectric tests
  • 230Vac auxiliary power distribution
  • Emergency trip and safety features
  • Racks:
    • Control and programming via Modbus
    • Programmable fuse

The next step, following the successful FAT, will be the shipping of the SEPDC (comprising of the Central Cabinet and Racks) to the Hispano-Suiza facility in Colombes, France, within the month for integration into the Copper Bird ©.
